Symptoms
Any SSH connections as the "nm2user" to the two Infiniband switches in an Exadata cluster always fail with "Write failed: Broken pipe", however "root" user works every time. Tried changing the "nm2user" password along with restarting SSH, but still running into this issue on both Infiniband switches.
Changes
Manually edited /etc/ssh/sshd_confg and edited PermitEmptyPasswords, changed to yes, and PasswordAuthentication, also changed to yes.
