HSM: DIV Support Broken In Solaris 11.4

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Customer unable to use Solaris 11.4, Oracle HSM and Oracle STK T10000 tape drives when DIV (dadp) mode enabled and with 2MB blocks being used.
While running a pre-release (build id 6.1.49) of the upcoming HSM 6.1-04 patch, that supports Solaris 11.4, with either "div = on" or "div = verify" in /etc/opt/SUNWsamfs/defaults.conf the customer found that the couldn't:
1) tplabel a tape that was previously unlabeled
2) archive to tape
3) stage back a file that been written to tape on an earlier version of HSM with "div = verify"
Tape volumes getting marked with media errors. The sam-archiverd trace file shows the following entry:
