STA: Release 2.3.0 Patch 2019 to Update Weblogic is Available (Doc ID 2560607.1)

StorageTek Service Delivery Platform (SDP2) - Version 2.3.0 and later

Details

The STA 2.3.0 Patch 2019 is available.

This patch updates the following:

   .Weblogic 10.3.6
   .ADF
   .Java 7

Some prerequisites for installing this patch:

   .STA version 2.3.0 is installed and running (to verify, log in and click About it the bottom-right of the screen).
   .STA database is backed up (see the STA 2.3.0 Admin Guide for instructions).
   .A minimum of 1 hour of down time is needed (depending on environmental conditions and operator experience more time may be required).

NOTE: This patch can only be applied with STA version 2.3.0 installed.  If a previous STA release is currently running, it will need to be upgraded to 2.3.0 first, before attempting to install this patch.

After installation, log into STA and click 'About' in the bottom-right of the screen. Verify the following updates have been loaded:

   .WebLogicApp Server Version: 10.3.6.0.190416
   .OracleADF Patches: 27213077, 7376280, 16546129
   .Java Runtime Version: Oracle Corporation 1.7.0_221 (64 Bit)

NOTE: If this patch is loaded, there is an issue with STA communication to the SDP2 product currently.  This is being investigated by Engineering.
