Incoming Sip Messages Not Reaching The Sip Stack. Outgoing Sip Messages Not Leaving The Vnf Ocsbc (Doc ID 2577742.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 18, 2022

Applies to:

Acme Packet 4500 - Version S-Cz7.4.1 to S-Cz7.4.1 [Release S-Cz7.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

VNF OCSBC: nnSCZ830p3
Os: Windows Server 2019 Standard, Version 1809
Hypervisor: Microsoft Hyper-v
Set the VM adapters in trunk mode.
Installed 8.3.0.p3 in HA configuration. Initially configured HA-only to get that up and running. Subsequently configured an access-realm for phones and a core-realm with a proxy. The goal is to get a phone registered. The phone doesn't get a response to a REGISTER. packet-trace local start on the sbc does NOT show the REGISTER coming in. To rule out incorrect routing I installed sipsak on the same subnet as the sip-interface subnet and repeated the test with an OPTION ping NOT seeing it in the packet-trace local start. Then I enabled OPTIONS ping on the proxy with a packet-tr running. This showed OPTIONS destined to the proxy but remain unanswered/no response. The proxy did NOT receive the OPTIONS.
