Generally, software maintenance (patching) of the Solaris OS on SuperCluster is exclusively managed through the Quarterly Full Stack Download Patch (QFSDP). This document describes when and how you can update some individual Solaris packages independently of the QFSDP on SuperCluster
This document applies only to SuperCluster systems and is intended to be used by anyone responsible for patching Solaris on SuperCluster. Basic knowledge of SuperCluster and the Solaris Image Packaging System (IPS) is necessary.
