Symptoms
PTP running on a Solaris 11.3 system adjusted the date / time / offset by one week due to a malfunction in the PTP infrastructure.
When the PTP infrastructure corrected it stepped the date / time / offset back by one week.

Changes
There was a incorrect time adjustment sent by the PTP devices the Solaris PTP client synchronizes with.
