IBM LTO7 & LTO8 - Firmware Downgrade Fails Due to New ASIC Chip Cards In IBM LTO7 and LTO8 Tape Drives
Changes
New ASIC chip cards are being added to the tape drives. A new firmware version was released for all IBM LTO7 and LTO8 variants to support these new hardware changes in the drives.
