Symptoms
The raidconfig utility shows a LSI SAS3 RAID Volume Device: (unmapped), even though the volume is visible and mapped under Solaris, when running Oracle Solaris 11.3 GA thru Oracle Solaris 11.3.9.4.0. This issue only affects output from the raidconfig utility.
