Symptoms

OCDoctor reports the JVM is out of heap space on the EC and on a co-located PC as well. In this example, the values were already set to a higher value than normal. The default is 8gb for an EC, and 2000mb for a PC:
This has been observed on Ops Center 12.3.2 on Solaris 11.3 (+ SRU), and on Ops Center 12.4 running on Solaris 11.4 (+ SRU). The Java was different in both environments as well.
