LTO6 - Poor Performance On Tape Drive

4 LTO6 tape drives installed in an SL150 tape library. 3 of 4 tape drives have very poor performance. Tested multiple backups to the drives in question along with the 1 drive that has good performance. Tested the same backup, from the same Netbackup client, using the same master server and have found the performance on the 3 drives are much worse than the one drive. Changed media servers and had the same results. Changed clients and have the same results. Froze media to force the use of scratch tapes and had the same results. Checked the switch logs and found no errors. Believe the issue is with the tape drives. The drives in question are in slots 2, 3, and 4. The drive in slot 1 is performing very well. The bridged drive is in slot 2.
Symptoms
Drives shows a high write retry count.
Drives stated originally there were a lot of write retries with all 4 of the last tapes used in the drive.

The drive 2,3,4 encountered a renegotiate link issue, while drive 1 has been not.
