HSM - WARNING 'tapeclean' is deprecated and will be ignored - auto-clean feature (Doc ID 2625869.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

When running the new defaults.conf with tapeclean = on, sam-fsd -v will generate the message below (or it will be seen in /var/adm/messages):

WARNING 'tapeclean' is deprecated and will be ignored

Auto-cleaning will not be done by HSM anymore and drives that need cleaning will remain with cleaning flag on

As a change, the below line was added to defaults.conf:

tapeclean = all autoclean on logsense on
