MacOS SMB Clients Have Random Disconnections From Solaris SMB Server (Doc ID 2629031.1)

SMB Connections from MacOS SMB Clients disconnect at times from the Solaris SMB Server after server upgrade to 11.4.

They may exhibit the following:

While browsing directories on the share it reverts to the root level of the share structure.
Some shared directories display a prohibited sign (minus sign in red circle) intermittently and do not allow access.
Share disconnects completely and needs to be reconnected.

It was reported on MacOS Mojave 10.14 and MacOS Catalina 10.15.

There are no errors reported from the Solaris 11 SMB Server processes.



Solaris SMB Server was updated to Solaris 11.4 and Shares reconnected by the clients.
