Symptoms

Multiple Drives have failed within the same Drive Group causing it to become faulted and LUNs to be placed offline.  This in turn results in loss of data access for those LUNs. 

Changes

As hardware ages it becomes more prone to failure.  Because Hard Drives contain many moving parts, they are one of the most likely to fail.  But even Solid State Drives have limits on the number of writes before they also see degradation.
