Purpose
This document provides the recommended proactive practice for Deferred Updates
with Platinum Patching and consists of the following activities:
Prior to a patch upgrade and as part of the Platinum Patch Assessment, the Oracle Patch Engineer will check for pending Deferred Updates and request customer approval to apply upon completion of the current OS update.
Within one week after a patch upgrade and upon customer approval, the Oracle Patch Engineer will apply all Deferred Updates.
