HSM: Not Creating Additional Archive Copy added to archiver.cmd For Existing Files (Doc ID 2662147.1)

Symptoms

Customer recently defined new archive set copies for one filesystem. After making the change, the customer expected the new copy to be created by the archiver for all new and existing files. However, only 2 archive sets created the additional copy for existing files, while the rest did not. Any new files added to the filesystem DID result in all copies made as expected.

All archive sets use the same disk archive destination. This destination is mounted and available with plenty of available capacity so these copies should have been created.

Here are the new archive copy definitions that were made in the /etc/opt/SUNWsamfs/archiver.cmd file, as well as notation as to whether or not the copies were created for the existing files in the filesystem:

 The customer recently modified the /etc/opt/SUNWsamfs/archiver.cmd file to add an additional archive set copy to a filesystem.
