Goal

Customer had a client automated process that submit a batch job the specified an invalid tape volser.

The problem is the job is left hanging waiting for the tape mount to be serviced, but it never does. Is there a way to have HSC or SMC to recognise that this is not an Oracle tape and fail the mount without all these errors ?
