Symptoms

Some Diameter peers  are receiving sporadic error Answer messages to their Requests indicating:

  Result-Code: DIAMETER_TOO_BUSY (3004)
  Error-Message: FABR-ERR-3004609 FABR Resource Exhausted

In the log history, finding many corresponding events showing: 22607 Routing attempt failed due to DRL queue exhaustion /

Changes

On an MP, several weeks beforehand the 'dsr' process tracing was elevated via 'tr.setmask...' command but never returned to normal.

Minor Event 31270 "Logging output" is reported by Procwatch from the MP.
