Symptoms

Unable to leave default values (blank) in remote rsync path and remote directory fields when provisioning or editing a Data Export server under xOAM GUI / Main Menu / Administration / Remote Servers / Data Export.
Error received at GUI when attempt:

    error: Bad Request String does not match pattern for [root.directory], String does not match pattern for [root.rsyncPath],



Changes

 Recently upgraded to DSR Maintenance Release (MR) of 8.4.0.3 or 8.4.04.
