When Deleting Vnet on a Solaris 11.3 box,Primary Domain Crashed (Doc ID 2690273.1)

Symptoms

On a Solaris 11.3 box, control domain crashed while deleteing vnet.The following messages are seen just before the panic

WARNING: vsw0:Failed to remove vlan(12144) err=22
NOTICE: ldoms-vsw0.vport1 unregistered

 

 the ldom command log has following information

Jul 01 16:33:32 ldm add-vnet pvid=2222 interconnectnew primary-vsw0 domain1
Jul 01 16:38:09 ldm add-vnet pvid=0 interconnectnew primary-vsw0  domain1
:

Jul 01 16:40:01 ldm set-vnet vid=0 interconnectnew domain1

Jul 01 17:24:01 ldm ls-services

All these have happened just before the panic.



Changes

 Customer tried to change the PVID on VNET on the fly  which has a VID associated.
