ORA-64307 Error Seen When Data Is Stored On An Exadata X8-2 XT Storage Server (Doc ID 2707804.1)

Symptoms

Data is stored in a disk group that is located on an Exadata X8-2 XT storage server.

An "ORA-64307: Exadata Hybrid Columnar Compression is not supported for tablespaces on this storage type" error is seen when either creating or accessing a tablespace that uses Hybrid Columnar Compression.

The ORA-64307 error does not occur on non-XT storage servers.
