Symptoms

After configuring or modifying a proxy for the Phone Home service on a ZFS Storage Appliance, the Appliance Kit Daemon (akd) management interface stops responding.

The Browser User Interface is stuck at "Please Wait".

Access to the appliance CLI drops to the restricted shell.

Changes

Issue Found In:

OS8.8.4, ak-2013.06.05.8.4

Configured or modified the proxy for the Phone Home service.
