Symptoms

Shares from the ZFS Storage Appliance(ZFSSA) become unresponsive, causing clients to report "NFS Server not responding".
Not all clients or all mounts on an affected client are necessarily impacted.
Other clients may access the same share without issue.
Affected clients may be able to access other mount points from the same ZFSSA without issue.

This issue can be confirmed by collecting packet data (i.e. tcpdump, snoop, tshark, etc).
The packet data will show the client is sending NFS call retransmits endlessly, but the ZFSSA only responds with empty TCP ACKs.

Please note: The above is a summary of the symptoms and actual symptoms can vary. Matching any symptoms here does not confirm that you are encountering this exact issue. For additional questions regarding this issue, please contact Oracle Support.
