D2000 Links States for Ports 9 and 10 Affect Each Other (Doc ID 2723974.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 09, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Talari D2000 Network Appliance - Version Edge 8.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

We have HA SD WAN appliances and HA core switches at a new location. If we turn off either switch, the interface on the SD WAN appliance that is connected to the switch that is still powered on bounces continuously. For example, ports 9 on both D2000s plug into switch1 and ports 10 on both D2000s plug into switch2. If we power off switch1, ports 9 on each appliance go down as expect, but so do ports 10. Port 10 should not be impacted by this test.
