Goal

This document describes how to migrate a SuperCluster M7/M8 IO domain with auxiliary iSCSI LUNs from one PDom to another that is managed by different ZFS storage appliance controllers.

 1. Introduction
 2. Activities prior to the freeze
 2.1 Quiesce all auxiliary LUNs
 2.2 Remove iSCSI static config for auxiliary LUNs
 2.3 Temporarily change the initiator group of all auxiliary luns
 3. Freeze the IO domain
 4. Thaw the domain onto a different PDom
 5. Activities after the thaw
 5.1 Change the initiator group of all auxiliary LUNs
 5.2 Fix MPXIO on iSCSI target targ_sc1sn1_ipmp<x>
 5.3 Add iSCSI static config for auxiliary LUNs
 5.4 Create new iSCSI LUNs on the new storage controller
 5.5 Register the new target
 5.6  Resync data across LUNs
 5.7 Remove iSCSI static config for original auxiliary LUNs
 6. Destroy original LUNs, target & target group
