PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
1. Message SLS6884E RC=380 will be followed by:
SLS6600E COMMUNICATIONS TO nameOfStormngr IS DOWN AND AFFECTING V000
along with:
SLS6858E MIGRATION FAILED STORAGE CLASS:storageClassName
ACS:nameOfStormngr VTSS:nameOfVTSS - ALL RTDS FOR REQUESTED
MEDIA AND ACS ARE OFFLINE
2. Message SLS6884E RC=8 REASON=0000017C will be followed by:
SLS6628E RTD nameOfRTD ON VTSS nameOfVtss FAILED TO MOUNT MVC volser
The RC=380 and REASON=17C are defined as XML end tag not found.
PTF LF720L4 exposed a logic error in SMC data space management. This
error caused a data space buffer to be incorrectly freed. This allowed
a data space buffer in use by a request to be freed and other request
to allocate and use the buffer while the first requestor was still
using the buffer.
PROBLEM RESOLUTION:
The process that was incorrectly freeing the data space buffer twice
when EOF was detected has been updated to only free the buffer once.
