In Solaris 184.108.40.206.1 (and higher), setting the maximum number of file descriptors to 65536 fails with "Insufficient privileges."
For example, using the ksh(1) shell:
Setting the file descriptor limit to 65536 in user initialization files (.profile, .kshrc, .login, etc) also fails.
System was updated from Solaris 220.127.116.11.4 (or lower) to Solaris 18.104.22.168.1 (or higher).
