(Doc ID 2762301.1)
Last updated on MAY 21, 2021
Applies to:Fujitsu M10-4 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases]
Fujitsu M10-4S - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases]
Fujitsu M10-1 - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases]
SSD does not accept any read/write commands after the power cycle, after working for approximately 8 years(70000 Power on Hours).
Multiple SSD failures can severely impact the uptime of the Servers affected.
Since the runtime of SSD is typically the same in a system, the problem can happen on multiple SSDs at the same time.
If any one of the listed SSDs (see Installed Part Number items in Affected SSDs table) experiences a failure after exceeding 70,000 Power on Hours(POH),
which will result in an error response, the FW upgrade must be applied to all impacted SSDs before access to the SSD can continue.
