Symptoms
System will show one or more DIMMs as "unknown" in the prtdiag -v log
root@test:/export/home/generic# prtdiag -v | grep unknown
SYS/MB/CMP0/MR1/BOB1/CH0/D0 SERVICE unknown
SYS/MB/CMP0/MR1/BOB1/CH1/D0 SERVICE unknown
Changes
This can usually be caused by a high uptime of the ILOM or due to noise over the i2c bus.
