Applies to:
Solaris Operating System - Version 11.4 and laterOracle Solaris on x86-64 (64-bit)
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)
Symptoms
We have patched a server running Solaris 11.4 from SR SRU 27.82 (11.4-11.4.27.0.1.82.1) to SRU 31.88 (11.4-11.4.31.0.1.88.5), however after patching we are not able to ssh into that server and it throws an error "no kex alg" when we try to ssh with a non-Solaris ssh client.
From a Solaris ssh client it throws the following error:
# ssh <HOST>
Unable to negotiate with <IP> port <PORT>: no matching key exchange method found.
