Why Does Hwmgmtd Restart Every Night?

Symptoms
One will see in the message file that hwmgmtd restart every 3AM:
May 17 03:03:24 lisprod19g hwmgmtd[5167]: [ID 702911 daemon.notice] Gracefully terminated.
May 17 03:03:48 lisprod19g hwmgmtd[45065]: [ID 702911 daemon.notice] hwmgmtd version 2.4.4.0 r20840 started.
May 18 03:02:03 lisprod19g hwmgmtd[45065]: [ID 702911 daemon.notice] Gracefully terminated.
May 18 03:02:26 lisprod19g hwmgmtd[40949]: [ID 702911 daemon.notice] hwmgmtd version 2.4.4.0 r20840 started.
One will also see the following from /var/svc/log/system-sp-management:default.log:
[ Apr 10 03:01:46 Executing stop method (:kill). ]
[ Apr 10 03:01:46 Executing start method ("/lib/svc/method/svc-hwmgmtd"). ]
[ Apr 10 03:01:48 Method "start" exited with status 0. ]
[ Apr 11 03:03:52 Executing stop method (:kill). ]
[ Apr 11 03:03:52 Executing start method ("/lib/svc/method/svc-hwmgmtd"). ]
[ Apr 11 03:03:54 Method "start" exited with status 0. ]
