Unable To Copy Files To /boot Directory (Doc ID 2785924.1)

Symptoms

1. While trying to copy build image to /boot directory via SFTP below error was coming -

 

Permission denied

 

2. While trying to delete old bootloader below error was coming - 

 

sftp> rm bootloader
Removing /boot/bootloader
Couldn't delete file: Permission denied

 

3. Tried changing permissions to 777 for boot directory via shell .

 

Still same error was encountered
