Symptoms

SP management service will not start after 11.4 OS upgrade

Solaris host is a guest LDOM service IO domain on a T5-2 system.

Customer upgraded from 11.3.28 to 11.4.29.82.3 smf after a reboot the system came up fine; however, Hardware Management Service = svc:///system/sp/management:default would not start.

The error log ( /var/svc/log/system-sp-management:default.log ) shows:
