Last updated on NOVEMBER 02, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) - Version DSR 8.5.0 to DSR 8.5.0 [Release DSR 8.0]
Tekelec

Symptoms

Problems to provision Global title addresses with hexadecimal digits that overlap another existing entry:

B0123456789012Y
B0123456789012Z

Changes

A new vstp system is being deployed using GTAs with hexadecimal digits.

Some GTAs have been provisioned with 15 digits including one hexadecimal digit at the first position, examples:

B0123456789012X
BXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
BYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

GTAs are added successfully.

If there are no hexadecimal digits it is possible to provision 21 digits length GTAs as indicated in the documentation.
