SDS 8.4.0.3 | Error Code - DB_EXCEPTION 1031 when <insertSubscriberRequest>request with Group=Y (Doc ID 2822106.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 09, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Diameter Signaling Router (DSR) - Version DSR 8.5.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

SDS:8.4.0.3.0-85.17.0.

 During <insert subscriber request>, when group ="Y" attribute is specified , the the request fails with the error below:

error="1031" affected="0" description="db exception"

Changes

 Provisioning is successful when group ="Y" attribute is NOT specified

When the group="y" attribute is specified, the <insertSubscriberRequest>request establishes relationships between IMSI, MSISDN and Account ID
values. When adding a new IMSI or MSISDN value to a subscriber, the<insertSubscriberRequest> request creates a new IMSI or MSISDN routing entity.
If any IMSI or MSISDN exists in the SDS database, the request fails, regardless of the group="y" attribute specification.
