Symptoms
Paraphrased from the enhancement 30524639:
It is possible to expand a zpool on a Solaris 11.4 kernel zone but the administrator was unable to expand the lun from external storage on the zone either by using the autoexpand command or zpool online -e within the zone.
Administrator returned to the global zone and followed the instructions in Doc ID 2129335.1 then expanded the lun using the
format > expand
command.
The problem exists on Solaris 11.4 kernel zones too
