Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

Log4j 1.X version is NOT used by DSR application. There is no impact of having or not having the package in Production. As per CGBU Security mandate, the Log4j version will be uplifted to the latest even if on non-impacting products. To be on the safest side, we recommend to have log4j 1.x removed from the system for customer's benefit. DSR 8.6 and above will have Log4j 2.17.2.
