Migrated Ldom Not Deleted in Source CDOM. "ldom unbind" Crashes Source CDOM : "ABORT: ../../../greatlakes/src/err_subr.s, line 0x4b9" (Doc ID 2860933.1)

Last updated on APRIL 05, 2022

Applies to:

Solaris Operating System - Version 11.4 and later
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)

Symptoms

T8-2 server System Firmware was updated from 9.10.1.a to 9.10.4.a

Problem Scenario:

Migrated the guest1 LDOM to other T8-2 CDOM :
  - The migration went ok but it did not delete guest1 LDOM in the source T8-2, which is not normal.

When I tried to unbind guest1 LDOM in the source T8-2, it crashes and reboots

# ldm unbind guest1
