HSM 6.1: Errors In Archiver Directives - No Archiving Will Be Done.

Symptoms
The customer in this case saw errors like this in their archiver trace file. Please note the customer's file system name was changed to "examplefs" so we could use it as an example. This was located in the /var/opt/SUNWsamfs/trace/sam-archiverd trace file:
Strangely, even though the trace file entry above says "Errors in archiver directives" the output of the "archiver -lv" command shows no errors found.
Changes
The customer in this case did not make any changes that might have triggered this. They did have a couple LUNs drop offline for one disk cache, when one of their FS1-2 arrays had a failed ESM. They noticed the problem while trying to resolve that issue.
It's reasonable to assume that other customers may see this issue manifest under similar conditions.
