HSM: Media Is Not Loading From Staging Request (Doc ID 2869013.1)

Symptoms

Customer reports that media is not loading for request seen in staging queue.

Tape A01000 is not loading but the staging queue shows it's waiting on it.

 

 

Changes

Recently there was tape catalog corruption, possibly from faulty tape hardware.  The catalog ended up with 34 duplicate entries for this specific volume.  They were able to clear these duplicates by performing an audit on each of the tapes.
