SBC: The IP in 'Contact' header of outgoing '491 Request Pending' contains IP of the remote side (Doc ID 2870273.1)

Last updated on MAY 23, 2022

Applies to:

Acme Packet 4600 - Version S-Cz8.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The outgoing packet from SBC contains the IP address of the remote side in 'Contact' header of '491 Request Pending' instead of the SBC egress interface IP.

Example, if the incoming 'contact' header in '491 Request Pending' is as follows:

Contact: <sip:1234@x.x.x.x:5060;transport=udp;user=phone>

Then, expected Contact when the 491 message is proxied to other side was:

Contact: <sip:1234@y.y.y.y:5060;transport=udp;user=phone>

where y.y.y.y is the Oracle SBC egress interface IP
