Applies to:
Sun StorageTek Auto Cartridge Sys Lib SW (ACSLS) - Version 8.5.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
ACSLS 8.5.1 was being installed on a new Linux x86-64 server.
Symptoms
The installation of ACSLS components is accomplished by executing the ~acsss/install/install.sh program. If the optional GUI component is selected for install, the installation program will start the Weblogic server, add the ACSLS Weblogic domain, and then stop Weblogic before installation is complete. In this case, the Weblogic server could not be stopped by the installation process, and the customer had to kill the Weblogic process manually. After this, when the customer tried to execute # acsss enable, the Weblogic server was able to start, but the ACSLS surrogate process would not start.
Changes
This was an install on a new server
