HSM: Slow Staging Performance (Doc ID 2899685.1)

Symptoms

The /var/opt/SUNWsamfs/sam-stagerd trace file shows staging the same inode in using 8MB at a time, over and over, at different offsets. This is not normal behavior.  This file appears to be 191M in size.  Took 7 minutes to complete, which results in a very slow 0.5 MB/sec from disk archive.
