Ops Center 12.4: Does Ops Center support a customer-managed remote 19C database? (Doc ID 2907836.1)

Symptoms

Multiple customers have asked about migrating their Ops Center 12.4 environment to a customer-managed 19c database environment, with the older existing inline or remote database for Ops Center sometimes showing up on customer security scans.

The only officially supported remote database version is 12c, which is officially listed here:

Oracle Database - Customer-Managed
12c 12.1.0.2 container and non-container All platforms the database supports are allowed.
11g 11.2.0.3.0 and 11.2.0.4.0 Oracle Real Application Clusters are supported.

Oracle Database - Embedded
12c 12.1.0.2 Oracle Database 12.1.0.2 is used in Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center 12.4.

Changes

No changes need to be made to the Ops Center environment
