Virtualbox COM Port Losing Connectivity With NCR 7167 and 7169 Printers when Using EPIC Edgeport Driver to Map USB to COM Ports (Doc ID 2910354.1)

Symptoms

Customer is mapping a COM port in the VirtualBox GUI which connects their NCR 7167 printers and NCR 7169 printers to the Virtual Machine (Windows XP). They are using EPIC Edgeport driver to map USB ports to COM ports.  Intermittently, the printer is not being seen.
