Symptoms

After upgrading the ZFS Storage Appliance (ZFSSA) to Appliance Kit (AK) version 8.8.51 or above, the BUI (Browser User Interface) might not be accessible from your usual browser.

The CLI (Command-line interface) works normally and all commands are responsive.

BUI fails to connect to the login prompt and the following error is received on your browser: "ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH" or "SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP"

 

Changes

 This happens after an upgrade to Appliance Kit (AK) 8.8.51 or newer version.
