This article explains the new VTCS command provided by PTF L1H18WN, which expands the capability of diagnostic logs from VSM 6/7 solutions.


This PTF includes a new VTCS command that allows a customer to collect VTSS diagnostic information at the direction of Oracle support. After completion of the command, the customer will perform a process to transfer that diagnostic information to Oracle via MOS.

This process helps customers who do not have SDP2 connections or, due to security guidelines, do not allow dial-in capabilities from Oracle to their VSM solutions. This new command provides Oracle Engineering diagnostic logs faster without sending an FE onsite to gather the information.
