Why Do Some Inter-SCP Flows Have scpPrefix In The Path? (Doc ID 2952662.1)

Last updated on JUNE 13, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Cloud Native Core - 5G - Version 2.22.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

During performance monitoring noticed some flows that require inter-scp have the originating SCP adding "scpPrefix" to the path:
      /scpPrefix/nudm-uecm/v1/imsi-###############/registrations/smf-registrations
These are removed by the receiving SCP before forwarding to the producer NF.

What is this prefix and where does it come from?
