Unreadable Logs Coming From The DB Backup (Doc ID 2955106.1)

Goal

Customer created OnDemand backup following the Section 4.3 cnDBTier Backup API in User Guide.
They found in the backup, the log BACKUP-xxxxxxx.1.log is not readable, is there anyway to make this log readable, or it's per-design that this log is not for human reading.
