Purpose

 This document is a reference for the usage of the Gold Images that you can build according to the documentation or you can get from Oracle.

Scope

 This document applies to Grid Infrastructure and Database homes, versions 19.3 and newer, on Linux x86-64 architecture.

 Step 1. On each cluster node
 Step 2. Connect to the first cluster node as the cluster owner, e.g. grid
 Step 3. Unzip the file grid_home.zip into the new directory
 Step 4. Set the new home ownership
 Step 5. Go the new Grid Infrastructure home
 Step 6. Validate Grid Infrastructure requirements
 Recommended Graceful Application Switchover Workflow
 Step 7. Run gridSetup.sh with option -switchGridHome in silent mode
 Step 8. Gracefully drain connections
