Ops Center 12.4: Security Concerns with the IPS Pkg Server (Doc ID 2966480.1)

Symptoms

Python 3.7 is listed as end-of-life on June 27th, 2023.  However, this version of the software is used in the pkg server on Solaris and Ops Center.  Some security scanners flag this as a finding on port 11000, which IPS uses by default for pkg communications..

Follow up questions from the customer usually involve configuring components of Solaris or Ops Center to use Python 3.9 or later.
